When you eliminate the heater core from your Spec MX-5 you now
have an un-used port on the factory coolant pipe that you will need to plug in some way. Many cut it off and then weld up the hole or find some other way to try and cap/plug it.
We have fabricated a new pipe that does not have the heater core connection on the tube and simplifies the cooling system routing.
This powdercoated tube comes with the O-ring and bolts into the same place as the factory tube.
If you are not running a thermostat we have a tube option for that without any ports. If you are running a thermostat then you will need the one with the single port.
