Brake Pressure Sensor Adaptor v2 (updated March 2026)
Custom made banjo bolt with 1/8” NPT pressure sensor port for adding a brake pressure sensor to your M10 x 1 threaded brake master cylinder. Made from a marine grade bronze alloy it will eliminate the galling potential of using a stainless adaptor with a stainless sensor.
This fitting replaces the banjo bolt on the brake master cylinder and eliminates the need to drill/tap the master cylinder.
Installing a pressure sensor will allow you to measure braking force with your data acquisition system. Since we are not allowed to run a brake proportioning valve you only need one sensor to accurately measure brake pressure.
Comes with (2) copper crush washers.
If you want to add an AIM 0-2000 psi brake pressure sensor and 1.5M patch cable to the brake pressue sensor adaptor you can add them from the drop down list.
This product is engineered to work with the OE Factory banjo bolt and banjo bolt fittings. The OE Factory banjo bolt is smooth and the banjo bolt fitting has an internal groove for fluid flow. Any of the aftermarket banjo bolt and banjo bolt fittings reveresed where the groove is located since it is cheaper to cut an external groove on the bolt than to cut an internal groove in the banjo fitting. Because of this difference the MiataCage part ONLY works with OE Factory hardware.
