The steering shaft adaptor is a thread on piece with 2 set screws that threads on the existing steering shaft in 1990-2005 Mazda Miatas and 2006 + Mazda MX5's. The splined adaptor comes  complete with quick release hub. The adaptor is roughly 4"in length extends the steering wheel rearward roughly 2" closer to the driver.  Even though the adaptor is thread on, we reccomend that you tack weld the steering shaft adaptor to the steering shaft for added security.

New Design - The QD now has 3 locations that index instead of 2 like all the others, so it makes for a slop free precise design.

Fit all Miatas including the 2006, as well as RX-8's.

If you measure from the dash where the interior light dimmer switch is located back to the center of the steering wheel, the Stock wheel since it is dished is 8" to the center of the wheel.  The Momo style (non dished) flat style wheel with our adapter is 9.5" to the center of the wheel.  If you need the wheel to be moved further back towards the driver, you can add one of our steering shaft spacers to add 1/2" of additional length per spacer.
