 Do you need your new MiataCage custom roll cage kit installed? With our partnership with ProFab, we can provide you with the most professional installation of your kit possible. With over 20 years of fabrication experience, ProFab is our installation center in the Pacific Northwest. We have several installation options available to you. You can prep the car yourself and bring it to us ready for installation, or you can drop off a running street car and we can prep it accordingly and install your roll cage kit.
For those that want to go the extra mile, we now have a frame jig to put the Miata's on prior to the installation of the roll cage kit so that we can see if the car is both level and straight. If the car needs to be straightened or leveled a little bit, as most do after 15+ years on the road, we can do that on the frame jig. We bolt the car down solid to the frame jig where the front and rear subframes attach, so that it can not move at all once bolted down. Once we have a straight and level car, we leave the car on the jig while the cage is installed so that the cage does not pull the car one way or the other during the installation process. When we use the frame jig for installation, you are guaranteed a perfectly straight and level car with the roll cage in it. Dont settle for someone installing the cage while its on its tires, or even on jack stands, where it can move around and pull with the heat of the welder during installation.
Typical installation time is about 1 week, if the car is prepped. Below are some pictures of the ProFab weld quality. The welds you are looking at are actually mig welds, even though they look like tig welds. Weld penetration is imperative with any installation and with the MiataCage ProFab install, you will be guaranteed an installation that is perfect in fit and weld quality every single time.
