Exhaust wraps help to retain heat in your exhaust system which increases horsepower while reducing radiant heat damage. Br wrapping the header and exhaust system it maintains hotter exhaust gasses, decreases the density, and allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster! Greater exhaust scavenging is produced and lowers intake temperatures which equals more horsepower. Our premier exhaust wrap has a special heat coating that can withstand 1200F continuous and 2000F intermittent. Exhaust wrap can be fastened with Thermal-Tie, hose clamps or wire.
This kit comes complete with 304 stainless steel cable ties. These are easy to use with no bands or buckles required. Simply pull the tail end through the head and tighten just like a plastic zip tie. There are no sharp edges and are easy to handle. The low profile makes them ideal for any tight fit application. 304 stainless steel construction, 3/16" width and a thickness of .010".
The kit includes 2" x 50' of exhaust wrap (8) 7.9" stainless steel low profile cable ties and (2) 14" stainless steel low profile cable ties. It takes roughly 45 feet to do the MIata.
This would not be legal based on the GCR for SpecMiata competition. It would be legal for IT and Endurance racing.
