We have finally located the best kill switch on the market. The Taylor-Vertex 4 post design that accommodates the battery shutoff as well as the alternator. Many kill switches on the market require a key that can get lost rendering the kill switch useless. The other style is similar to this design but the engagement of the switch mechanism is loose and sloppy. After repeated use of the Longacre product we found that they failed regularly and needed replacement every season.
Battery disconnect comes with installation instructions and "Off" stickers that meet the SCCA and NASA requirement for battery disconnects.
