This kit allows the seat to be positioned as far back as possible so that someone who is 6 feet plus tall can fit into these small cars. I had Miatacage.com install the kit. "Miata Cage allowed us to get a professional level cage in the car
significantly quicker and better than we could do it ourselves. We
wanted to build our own cage but we didn't want to invest in the tubing bender. All bends supplied fit the car perfectly with only trimming and coping required at the tube ends.
The stiffness of our chassis was increased significantly. This was
apparent when we had the car sitting securely on jack stands and the front right side was ½ inch above the jack stand that was initially set too low.
The customer service (response and support) provided was excellent!
We looked at other Spec Miatas's and this cage provided the most
drivers compartment room compared to any other car especially
in the footwell area."

"I recently installed a miatacage.com carbon fibre intake into my Spec Miata and am extremly happy with it! For the longest time, I felt like my car was lagging on the straights compared to the other San Francisco Region
frontrunners. I had a good motor, but suspected that my intake at the time, the u-shaped Racing Beat variety, was robbing me of some of the engine's potential. That was especially true towards the end of the race, when heat
soak was getting to the Racing Beat very noticably. Not only did the miatacage.com intake provide a significant gain on the dyno, but now the car pulls strongly from green flag to the checker! It doesn't hurt that every time I get the hood open people constantly ooh and ahh at its
