You have many choices on where to spend your hard earned racing dollars. We at MiataCage strive to provide a high level quality of product at a reasonable price. We specifically choose products for the site that we run on our own cars. We don't resell wrenches and rod ends and Ams*** and all the little pieces that every other online retailer sells to beef up their web site. We have selected a limited amount of products that will help build your SpecMiata and then make it go fast. We stock over 90% of the products on the site, so when you order something, it comes from one source.
We are not just a parts business, we are racers, who are passionate about racing Mazda products. We race Mazda’s in regional, national and endurance competition throughout the US. This is not just a business to us, it is a community of competitors, friends and family that we are fortunate to share our time and experiences with. We attend the runoffs on a regular basis and travel to various regions to meet and support our customers. MiataCage has supported the SM racing community since the inception of the business and continues to support the SM community in several ways.
We allocate a percentage of ALL sales to go back into the national racing community through traditional race sponsorship, worker funds, product giveaways, free race  entries and race related web page contributions throughout the country. Understand that this is not sponsoring an employee or a friend in our home town, this is making significant financial and product contributions for sponsorship throughout the US in multiple regions. There have been some recent statements made on the internet, by someone claiming to have ownership of the MiataCage product offering. This is simply not true! Since 2004 we have been designing, building and providing the very best products to the SM racing community. When you choose to spend your racing dollars we hope you will consider a long standing established SM business that gives back to the SM community.
We would like to thank all of our existing customers for their trust and business over the years. What started out as a hobby has turned into something much more for us. Mazda GranPrix of Portland - 08 - Portland, OR - Title  sponosor for the Regional SM race. Over $8,000.00 in cash prizes paid out to the top 26 drivers.
Blake Clements - 07, 08 – Houston, TX – Blake is a racer out of Central Division who earned the pole qualifying position for the first ever SM National Championship (Runoffs) Race in 2007. We hope to help Blake take another shot at the podium for the 08 runoffs in Topeka, KS through financial and product contribution.

SLOMiata - 08 – San Luis Obispo, CA – The San Luis Obispo Miata Club is a non profit car club building a club racer as a group to be used by the group in SCCA and NASA events. It is an educational experience for all of the members to get hands on to learn more about their cars as they help build a club racer. We are donating parts and technical expertise to the club.
Ken Sutherland – Portland, OR - 05, 06, 07, 08 – Ken is one of the key players in the Northwest SM community. He has helped grow the NW SM community through his enthusiasm for the sport and his willingness to help all of his competitors. Ken finished 14th at the first ever SM National Championship Runoffs Race in 2007.
Gary Bockman – Portland, OR 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 – Gary is another key player in the NW road racing scene. Gary has a tremendous passion for the sport and does incredible amounts of volunteer work promoting the class, sport and race tracks. We are proud to sponsor and help Gary through financial support, product testing and contribution.
John Mefford – LasVegas, NV 07, 08 - John is a newcomer to the SpecMiata Series for the 07 season. We put him in an underpowered car and watched him race it to the front. We will be supporting John again in 08 with financial contributions, technical assistance and product contributions.
Jim Daniels – TN 06, 07, 08 – We sponsor Jim in his Grand Am Cup, MX5 Cup, and SpecMiata efforts. As the founder of the SM class, we feel we owe it to him to give back a little for creating such a cool class for us to play in. Our involvement entails product contribution, technical assistance and financial support.
SCCA Runoffs – Topeka, KS –We were fortunate to attend an be a part of the first ever Spec Miata Nationa Championship in Topeka, KS in 2006. Aside from sponsoring drivers in the 06, and 07 runoffs we attended and donated over $2,000.00 in parts to giveaway for the innagural Spec Miata party.
MazdaSpeed Magazine 07, 08 – Project Car – We are helping the team at MazdaSpeed Magazine with technical support and product contribution for their project Miata.
SportsCar Magazine 08 – Project Car – We are working with the team at SportsCar Magazine to help with product and financial support as well as technical assistance on their project race car.
Bob Schader – National SSB MX5 08 – We have decided to get involved in the SSB arena by sponsoring Bob. Bob is a longstanding friend to the Mazda product, and a pleasure to be around. We are contributing financial support, product support and technical assistance.
SpecMiata.Com – 05,06,07,08 – We have been a long running supporter/advertiser with SpecMiata.Com. They are the authority when it comes to the online community, and we are proud to be a financial supporter and advertiser.
NW SpecMiata.Com – 06, 07, 08 – We are a proud supporter and content contributor to this great site. This site was designed to help increase participation and fun in the Oregon and Washington SM race series. We contribute technical assistance, write content, product schedules and contribute financially to the site.
Team MER – 07,08 – Associate Sponsor of the Team MER MX5 Cup cars. We have the pleasure of working with Shannon, Jason and Juliann and their efforts in the MX5 Cup. We contribute product, financial assistance and product testing to their efforts.
Oregon Region Worker Party 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 – We consistently donate time, materials and funding for the Oregon Region Worker Party every year. Without the workers, we have nowhere to play. In 06 we were the sole sponsor of the entire party.
Oregon Region SM BBQ - 05, 06, 07, 08 – For some  time now we have had the pleasure of being a part of the Oregon Region year ending SM BBQ. Prior to the beginning of every season, we get together as a region and celebrate the past years races with good food, friends and compilation race videos. We are now sponsoring a BBQ every race weekend in the Oregon region. We have found that this is a great way to get all of our competitors together to socialize and get to know one another as people as well as racers. |
